Afternoon peeps. I come in here occassionally to see if there is anything worth reading (there rarely is). Here's a test for you. Try not posting for a while and just read. This board has got to win some sort of prize for how dull it is.

The reason I thought I would post is in reply to some of the stuff below about RTG. Much as you seem capable of denying it to yourselves, the mags we have visiting on RTG are very often you. Not only dare you not use an open forum, you can't even debate using the same names as you use on here. Think how sad that is. Some of the mags are from Talk of the Tyne (another closed forum) but most of them are incapable of finding a site outside the rivals network so stay on TWR.

You have the same disease as your joke directors - permanently denying reality.

Back to sleep boys and girls. But remebember, we are watching you.

BTW macbeth -nice try to explain your banning but racism is unacceptable at any time. Pity you won't admit to your friends some of the stuff you posted under other names.

You sound like an intelligent person - why don't have a go at participating on here in a meaningful way? IMO it would be great if there were one or two mackem fans on here who wanted to participate in sensible debate.

I'm not saying you wouldn't get some stick, but I'm sure you wouldn't have it any other way.
Manure fan, Lancester Red, frequently comes on here, and we have some good-humoured knockabout with him. It has occasionally got a bit 'steamy' as he is a right wind-up artist, but it generally works OK. A number of us have had a pint with LR, and he gives as good as he gets.

You see that's what football supporting is supposed to be about - good-humoured rivalry. It's a sport for God's sake, not bloody war! It really isn't supposed to be about the bigotry and outright hatred that currently pervades the relationship between the majority of Mags and Mackems these days - which I personally find abhorrent.

I tried recently to encourage some sensible debate on RTG, but was received with a absolute storm of blasphemous abuse, and simply gave up in disgust.

There is no doubt that both sides are to blame for present state of the relationship between the fans, but I'd like to believe that sooner or later the more enlightened of the rival fans will see the value in breaking down the barriers of hatred, and attempt to get the relationship back to being simply rivalry.

I'm possibly sticking my neck out in hoping my fellow contributors on here would offer an olive branch to someone like yourself who was brave enough to give it a try. Fancy trying?

Okay I like logic. I think if you look back MY bit didn't mention racism at all, not once, it was about the Pope and Mother Theresa. The original by Nunez was all about racism and how he believed the only reason he didn't get a game was because his manager was racist.

I have never hidden, on here, from what I have posted on your site, as your nice little bit on the exec site clearly shows. I haven't been back to RTG since I was banned although I desperately keep trying to see whether you'll let me back in again. Please let me back, please. It is one of the great sadnesses in my life, and there are many, that I'm now stopped from helping you along.

I'd guess your main reason for coming on here is the reduction in hits you're getting from me not being on your board. Less hits less ad revenue from your partners.

I like your comment that we hide behing our password protection but then do the same to the exec bit of your board, but then I've always been a good hypocrite myself.

We all live in our own little worlds and clearly have different things to chat about. As you have done this week regarding this board may I comment on the content on your not so dull place today. A bit about Williams, fair enough; a quiz question, yeah okay; a discussion on McCann, yup good stuff; a bit about Douglas Hall, not sure, but its content did make me smile (NUFC related though); a request for some commentary, yup; a desire that england fail to help SKs cause, okay understand that, just; a bit about this board; a bit about Shearer's injury, NUFC related; another bit about Shearer, NUFC related; a joke; a bit about how many points above NUFC you are; there are 4 others which seem to be related to either Shearer or Hall.

Now it doesn't seem that much better than on here to me. But I tried to say that before I was banned. I don't think there is that much difference between NUFC and SAFC fans. On a global scale the same thumb print on the map covers all of us. We talk the same, apart from a couple of speech defects on your behalf. We are the same people we just have different supporting needs.

As you have shown by coming on here, and many of us have shown by visiting RTG, we both like to go and annoy each other. I should now give you the Herts welcome, but hey we're nice to our visitors :0)

Macbeth goes all nicey nicey (We met up and had a drink with a glory hunter who posts here who looks like peter sutcliffe) in the hope that "An occassional mackem lurker" wont come back and tell all your "chummy, oh so nice, pally pally, VTP, lets not disagree?" mates about the absolute shite and offensive lies and bull crap that you post on RTG oh so often? (some of which would see you ostricised from here due to the nature of such posts on rtg?)

Looks like we have just bought the ranch lads and lasses. Now, what is going to happen is that this person will go back to the RTG and say that we are indeed with makems etc,etc. I would've much preferred if we had just ignored him in the hope that it will go away. It has made me sad, this was a makem free forum, now "they are watching" I will feel the need the respond to any insults they care to throw out. It's like having an uninvited guest.
