And thank y'all for your positive vibes last night, which I'm sure made the difference in Maryland's victory over the hated Georgetown Hoyas. It means I can hold my head high in the office for at least a couple of more days.

Y'all have a great day. Don't forget about me while I'm on night duty.

Al - you didn't go see the Bastard Sons of JC? How I wish I could've been your date.

I regret missing them. But mostly I regret not seeing the MOC jam out in your hat. Damn the Austin Fevah for making me feel like ass.

I would have been your date, too, Al.

Yay Maryland! Chris called me from Philadelphia all happy.

I just spilled Super Glue on my fingers so I'm going to stop typing and go to the Eckerds and buy some acetone nail polish remover.

-- Anonymous, March 23, 2001

What if your fingers get stuck to Fancy's steering wheel?

-- Anonymous, March 23, 2001

Well, usually I would have just gone by myself, but I was sooooooo tired yesterday. I may have a touch of the Austin Fevah myself, or something, because for the past two days, I have felt like I couldn't lift my feet off the ground to walk.

Anyway, AB didn't call, so I just took it as a sign I wasn't supposed to go. My friend Handsome Dan and his girlfriend wanted to go, but they kind of jagged out on me, and I said that was fine.

Tonight is the Derailers with the Hollisters, two bands I love but have never seen. I'd really like to do that, if I can stay awake. And maybe if the Chaos want to do it.

Girl - get the Eckerd's brand flu/cold stuff. If you hadn't dragged me to the barrio drug store, I certainly would be dead right now.

-- Anonymous, March 23, 2001

i'm typing with my left hand because my other fingers are soaking in acetone. it sor of burns. they played fancy in the store.

-- Anonymous, March 23, 2001

Where the F is AB?

Thing is, I don't know if it's a cold/flu thing or not. I just feel veeeeeeery run down. I don't really feel germy.

-- Anonymous, March 23, 2001

You may be just that - run down. That's two acyion-packed weekends in a row. I wasn't surprised at all when Joh got sick - she'd been going since before Spain.

Y'all all need a vacation, that's what.

Well, the acetone did a half-ass job. That girl better buy my car, what with the fancy repair job I'm doing.

-- Anonymous, March 23, 2001

That's probably because you are run down.

I get to do my taxes this weekend. Aren't you excited? Let's just hope I get a lot back. I need it.

-- Anonymous, March 23, 2001

Morning, angels. Al, we were all tired and whatnot last night too. I so sorry!

-- Anonymous, March 23, 2001

Morning, Anna Beth!

How you doing? Is this the last day of Spring Break?

-- Anonymous, March 23, 2001

Oh, AB it totarry ok. I so tired, I couldn't even call you to see why you not carring! It fine.

-- Anonymous, March 23, 2001

We're good--Madeleine is having a friend over to spend the night tonight, so it should be interesting.

Al, maybe Master V wants to go with you. He's a good date.

-- Anonymous, March 23, 2001

I just looked at my stats, and I got a hit from the LAPD. Why do the cops and the copkillers looooove an bei, y'all?

-- Anonymous, March 23, 2001

well, at least you have cops and cop killers. they kind of cancel each other out, right?

-- Anonymous, March 23, 2001

T - I got your e-mail yesterday asking when I'd next be in Birmingham. It made me pause for a minute and say "that's right... I am from Birmingham..." I've been travelling to other places so much, I sort of forgot about my home for God's sake. That ain't right. Don't tell the Governor.

People. I go out to lunch and come back and still, nothing? What's the dilly?

-- Anonymous, March 23, 2001

I just got back from lunch. Some stupid Yankee bitches were frustrating me on the road. Fancy calmed me down, though.

Would I be as bad as Dana if I wrote an entry about stupid Yankee bitches who piss me off when they're like 16 and swerving their mother's Buick up and down Peachtree Road?

Oh my god, y'all, I'm dying. I wish I knew this guy.

-- Anonymous, March 23, 2001

That made my day.

"Heads" down.

-- Anonymous, March 23, 2001

My favorite is the "hanging out... casual."

-- Anonymous, March 23, 2001

Oh my god. That is the greatest thing I've ever seen. I wish Chris had just not left for the day, because he would love that. Especially the "smackin' that ass" dance, which is his personal favorite of all dances.

-- Anonymous, March 23, 2001

I liked the pony. Of course, stirring the pot of love is such a classic you can't NOT love it.

-- Anonymous, March 23, 2001

I wish they had my favorite - it's similar to the Pot of Love, except it's the one where you say, "Yo, when I was a little girl, my momma tole me to put my cereal bowl on my shoulder and eat it like this:"

And then you stir, but on shoulder level. You have to act it out to get the gist of it, I think.

I updated. I think I'm out for the day in about five minutes - Chris caught an early flight, and it's a real pretty day. I'm goign to fetch him from the airport.

-- Anonymous, March 23, 2001

I had a huge lunch, but I'm still hungry. Why is that?

Al - you still around?

-- Anonymous, March 23, 2001

ob la di. ob la da. I guess I'm alone now. It's only 4:15 in the Great State of Ohio. But my boss is gone, so I might be out early too.

Unless y'all come back.

Amy Ray is playing here on the 10th. Yay!

Y'all, MATH sucked today! Sorry, I had to go to a farewell lunch for my only two friends at the office, and then had to do about a week's worth of work in an hour. I did it, though. Because I kick ass, bitches.

It is five o'clock, and I think I will walk out of here on time for once. My boyfriend is a jag, and he will probably never want to get married or have kids, but today I love him anyway. I have absolutely no plans this weekend, and I've never been happier. If J-Co never calls me again, I couldn't care less. I could get fired tomorrow and I would do a dance of joy. I may never update HYD, and the world would just have to suck it up. I think I'll go drop a big chunk of change at Sephora on things I don't need, damn the consequences to my checkbook.

This is my state of mind, people. How do you like me now?

I'm here and everyone's gone. Story of my life.
