Ahhh....so Bobby and the suits had to go along to make it look like they were on a trip to make a bold signing cause they didn't want to cause panic in the ranks by making it known that they are finally sending Shearer to a top sports injury specialist.

Or Shearer is afraid of flying and needed Bobby to hold his hand.

Or Shearer finally had enough and said he was off on holiday until the club sorted itself out, and Bobby and the suits went after him to pursuade him

Or Bobby and the suits had to drag Shearer kicking and screaming to a coaching course so he'll be ready to take over in the close season.

Any more? ;-))

Actually, I do hope he's off to see a specialist. Didn't he go to a guy in Denver after one of his injuries?

It's nice to know that the one injury he's had that hasn't reoccurred is his hernia. Well, nice to know for me anyway, since the same guy that operated on wor Al operated on me last year. ;-)

Actually, you're all wrong. Following on from hints on the Footie Mouth thread, I can exclusively reveal what has actually happened to Big Al. He's the one 2nd from the right. TBR and FS are in the suits.

LOL! That's the best condition he's been in - should be raring to go for the next game.

Ah, but he could still be a bit tender...

Looks to me like he's lost all his pace and been skinned. Bit of a radical way to strengthen his suspect ankle. Aalways had me doubts aboot the medical staff.
