Who misses the Ronnie Gill site?

Cos I certainly miss that and the Journal site, I really just can't be bothered to get into that ICNewcastle site at all....

I wonder if any of you lot are the same as well? have they shot themselves in the foot to a certain extent by just packing up and going as they did?

It definitely cuts down on loafing at work. You used to be able to regulate your day nicely.

9.00am catch up on e-mails
10.00am make a cup of tea for everyone
10.10am toilet
10.30am catch up on the Journal
11.00am do a bit of work
11.10am reward your industry with a quick scan of the bbs
12.30pm Oops, lunchtime already, better check NUFC.com
1.30pm Check the Ronnie
2.00pm Coffee anyone?
3.00pm toilet
3.10pm fiddle your expenses claim
3.30pm update CV
4.00pm bbs until close

That's a whole 30mins to fill! Have to write something unfunny and post it on the bbs :-)

That's half an hour in the toilet each day! What's going on in there? Is this a habit you've picked up from going to the Reserve games at Kingston Park?

To answer Gav's question...YES! The only good thing about the ic thing is taht they put in the Sunday Sun and what appears to be some Pink stuff. Neither of which was accessible before. Well the Sun had a site, but it crashed my browsers. IC is still toooooooo slooooooooowwwww.

IC is crap. Too slow and doesn't have the "feel" of a newspaper like the Journal and Ronnie did. I don't even bother looking.

Softie, I'm a little concerned about the 11:00 -> 11:10 time slot. Please amend the description to: pretend to do a bit of work

thank you.

I still cannot get it to work. just the headlines for me.

so in answer: THE NEW SITE IS CRAP!

I definitely miss it. It was a link to home. Sitting with a beer reading the Chron was like touching base.

Whenever we saw anything with " Fire" in the headlines we'd take bets on it being a chip pan fire at 11-30pm somewhere in Gateshead!!

ICNewcastle......Naaa... I don't think so.

Softie, You don't need to take stick about your toilet habits from a bloke called 'Windy'. Stand up for yourself - or is standing up for yourself part of the problem?
