You've got to stay positive. Furthermore, it's not as if we don't have the 'ability' to win. If we can manage to win three in a row, the next three or four would be a lot easier. I certainly wouldn't put any money on it (in fact I'd put money against it) but we need to be going for it.

I don't think that the players will want to take part in the intertoto cup and reckon that after we get 3 or 4 more points they'll be happy to see us finish in mid table, thus etting themselves out of a tournement that they don't want to play in. They also know that if they are in the inter TOTO then their proposed tour to Japan and east Asia will not go ahead.

Why wouldn't they go to Asia? That's supposed to happen at the end of the season. It'll probably be their only chance of a team piss-up if they do go into the Toto Cup. Actually if the Toto thing means them working and training rather than going on the piss, I could be persuaded that it's a good thing. I'm just afraid that our participation means the players being called in a week before, being put through the motions at our superb(not) CLS training facilities, then being thrown into competition they aren't anywhere near ready for. :-/
