The Sigma 500mm F7.2 sells rather cheap at the moment, and I am wondering if I should get one of them instead of a reflex lens. Has anyone user comments on this Sigma and photos taken with it?

I realize this is about a year too late but I have both and I use the Sigma 500mm 7.2. It is good; not fabulous! The reflex lenses have little contrast.
