I've recorded several Video CDs on CD-R using Easy CD Creator 5 but when I've tried to play them on a Toshiba SD-9100 DVD/CD/Video CD player I get a "Please Check Disk" message. I've heard that the latest Toshiba models can play CD-R Video Cds so I'm not sure why I'm getting this message. Would anyone know? Thanks for the help!

The latest Toshibas can indeed play CD-Rs, but to be sure find out in www.vcdhelper.com. But are you sure you have created a legit White Book VCD?? Find out some way to play that on other set-tops and see how it behaves with them.

Did you ever get the 9100 to play CD-R VCDs? I have the same one.
