alright then?

without wishing to ignore saturdays disgrace i think there were a couple of interesting signs.

1- Rob Lee (apart from tiring at the end) bossed the game so much it was unbelievable. Can we fill his boots? yes 35 mil Zidane

2- Cort was quite good but takes ages to control the ball and sometimes doesn't. Can we fix it? yes Zico and Linford as coaches £4000 a day each coach

3- The defence were not too bad (i'll come to Woz in a second) Hughes and Caldwell weren't a disgrace. In fact Caldwell seemed quite damn well assured pushing out of defence (despite giving the ball to INce near the end) ...but...if we are to really do it we need someone x2 who can really really cut it Thuram 15 mil, Costacurta 22 mil

4- A striker who can run fast and produce the unexpected, has defences living in fear and who can sell bucket loads of shirts Rivaldo 40 mill + 12 mil in wages

i think that does it for now...

but can we afford it?

as for wozza, some sublime moments and some scenes of outrageous buffoonery (nowt to do with you bill...) would rivaldo really want to play with warren, seriously?

I hope those player suggestions are tongue in cheek!

Wadsworth is very highly rated in the game and by the press but I've seen nothing so far to tell me so. Mind you Robson is not exactly getting my Mr Motivator award at present and his declaration after Saturday of "Sometimes the coaches cannot do any more" is worrying.
