What do you think of beauty pageants? Would you ever do one, or "let" your significant other do one?

I'd never do one, because... dammit! I'm not supposed to be doing the self-deprecation thing anymore. No self-deprecation means I have no way of answering this question, because I can't be honest.

Nevermind. Bleh.

Actually, the couch tribe pitched a fit on Friday to MSA because they wouldn't let me participate in the Miss Essance Pageant.

When I was little, I wanted to be Little Miss Calhoun County. One of my friends got to be Little Miss Calhoun County, and I was insanely jealous.

And of course, I went through a phase where I was certain that I wanted to grow up to be Miss America. I thought it was like a career or something. Anyway, I grew out of that phase, and now I'm just happy being me, beauty pageants or not. =)

I really can't stand pageants. There's a lot of reasons for that, but mostly it's because most of the girls aren't that good looking anyway. I don't know where the standards for these things came from, but I don't think they're the popular view of beauty. But Angela is hot...

They're fine. I mean everyone that I've ever been in I've won...

Ok, I'll do the self-depreciation thing because Katie can't. I wouldn't ever do one because I wouldn't just lose, I'd get kicked out.
