Pope coming to Liverpool

The Pope came over to England on a visit and was giving a speech in Liverpool. He opened with "People of Liverpool, I am honoured to be here to open this years Olympic Games..."

His advisor quickly nudged him and said "Your Holiness, the olympics aren't being held in Liverpool!" The Pope looked round and whispered "I just thought, with all the tracksuits........"

Ya na what it is, if John Paul had of snuffed it about 2 year ago, then the chances are the Pope could of been a Toon fan. Which is only right when you think about the cathederal St James.

Aye it's a shame wor cardinal Basil Hume passed away earlier like.........

Do you think the Pope Hume would of been as strong on contraception as John Paul???????

I'm not a catholic, but wouldnt it have been great if he could have used his publicity to controversially campaign 'for' contraception with regards to the inbred mackems and the genetic mutants??? mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....................
