If you ever read Maxim Magazine(US), I read a small article about a glitch in this DVD/VCD/CDR/MP3 player. I was trying to know what it was. I forgot what I read and I remembered that I had that model they mentioned. Could you help.

Hey If your talking about the secret menu. Its only in the Ad-600. I dont know where its at. Search Google.Com and type Apex Secret Menu. Also in there there is so many hacks and stuff they put in there. Like regional hacks and stuff. AND ITS PREPRGRAMED INTO EVERYONE! (600 not 660). Also I just found out that not only does it read everything you said plus SVCD. It also reads CD-RWs! So I put my MP3 files on there. Or if you want, A VCD movie! Then when your done erase it and put a new movie on there! This player is the best Ive seen. And got it this Christmas. I am unable to use the Secret Menu though. Because I only have a 660. My friend has a 600 and it works fine with his. HAVE FUN HACKING YOUR DVD PLAYER!!!

Umm no buddy, your obiously not that smart, there is a secret menu for the AD-660 because i just acessed it. You power up you AD-660 with no CD in and wait til it says no cd. Then you hit Setup on your remote, then move down until your prefrences is selected and press step on your remote and then hit |<< and then >>| and the secret menu will open telling you what type of AD-660 version you have. Personaly i have the Apex AD-660 - 8 - AM you can find a list of software hacks that will remove the region and macrovision (instead of buying a 20 mod chip and trying to install it if your a friggen moron to electronics.) Or you can order the chip and install it if your as smart as me ;-)
