New "TV" service on Leeds website

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

LUFC have just started up a web TV service. It's tied in with every match with pre and post match interviews although unfortunately no live web TV of th egame tonight (but they have the audio commentary). It's not bad at all. Why can't we have something similar, especially when NTL are supposed to be heavily involved in this kind of production?

With our official site there would be no garantee that we would get the Toon games. More likely to see some other match like the Mackems or Smoggies.

The current Audio service is poor as it is.

The appalling state of our Official Site doesn't say much for NTL's professionalism does it?

NTL have never been professional in anything they do in my opinion. Shower of shite was my favourite adjective during a period from October to January while they sorted my TV out.

If there's money involved I'm sure that most clubs will be looking to introduce TV on the web. It would also be good to be able to watch pre / post match footage on decent sized TV's with good audio systems within the bars of the staduim, both before and after games.
