The Weakest Link is supposedly coming to American television. Haven't heard who they plan on getting to host it. I can just picture a disgruntled contestant running to the ACLU and taking the show and it's producers to court for character defamation if the host's comments are anywhere near as nasty as the UK version. ;-)

Ciara.......you are getting the same host.....Anne Robinson has signed a £5m deal with NBC to make the programme and she is scutting her ties with other programmes ect over here.

She was in America last weekend tying up the loose ends of the deal.

Oh gawd. I figured they were just using her voice in the ads. Be interesting to see how she plays to the mass market yhere. I couldnt' stand the witch when I saw the show over there. But then she reminds me of a grown up version of 3/4 of my classmates in school. Evil and mean! ;-)

I saw one where they asked what was the title of Karl Marx's most famous book and the Weakest Link said The Marx Brothers. Wasn't difficult for the others to work out who to vote for.

If you want to see real tank-life in action, you want to watch Midday Money on Richard and Judy. Contestants get a grand a pop answering questions like 'Kingfisher, Swallow and Wren are all types of what?'. I kid you not. My favourite answer to date: "Pot of Honey is rhyming slang for what?" Answer:"Pot of Gold?"
