FIRING SQUAD

Bill Clinton, Al Gore and George W. Bush were on trip to Central America where they ended up being captured by terrorist revolutionaries. They were summarily tried and sentenced to death by firing squad.

Clinton was to go first, and calmly stood before the revolutionary firing squad. Then the order was given: "Ready. Aim. ..."

Before the final word could come out, Clinton suddenly yelled "Earthquake!" Confused, the members of the firing squad began scrambling around, which gave Clinton time to scramble over a wall and escape.

Dismayed but not discouraged, the revolutionaries went forward with the next execution, that of Al Gore.

Like Clinton, Gore stood calmly before the firing squad as their leader yelled out: "Ready. Aim ..." then Gore quickly yelled out: "Tornado!"

Again confused, the firing squad members began looking around for a funnel cloud which, you guessed it, allowed Gore to leap over a wall and escape.

Watching this, George W. thought, "I see what those two clever Democrats did. All I need to do is think of a disaster and yell it out before they shoot and I can escape too!"

So George W. calmly stood before his would-be executioners. When their leader ordered, "Ready. Aim ..." George W. quickly yelled out: "Fire!"
