I must say I had always thought that Derwentside was pretty much half Mag-hlaf Makem but, being at home, what struck me most was that there is so little interest in the local teams (in fact, the only footy mag you can buy is the Man United officail mag). However, I've seen two Toon tops and a Toon jacket to one Sunderland one and the spOrts shop has three Toon tops to one Sunderland one so, to the extent that Derwentside is interested in footy, it seems to be more Mag than Makem. Bob Murray would have a kitten.
