It has been confirmed by Football Association Headquarters in Soho Square that following extreme pressure from supporters of both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur that the venue and kick off time of the FA Cup Semi Final have been changed.

The re arranged venue has been decided as the Maracana Stadium in Brasil with a kick off time of 2.25am local time on Wednesday morning 4/4/01.

FA Spokesman Mr Crozier was quoted as saying "The supporters are always our priority, we have reacted to comments that the venue and kick off time are inconvinient for supporters from North London. The excellent flight links with Brasil from both Heathrow and Gatwick should appease these fans"

This should go some way to quashing Met Police fears of crowd trouble. Chief Superintendant Smithson said "Thank Fuck for that I was shitting myself about this one, I was about to book the week off as holiday"

Dennis Bergkamp refused to comment on whether Arsene Wenger would permit him to drive to this game.

Strange how they're worrying about them clashing now.....

They weren't worrying 2 years ago when Arse played Man Utd in the semi at Villa park and we played Spurs at Old trafford.....there were thousands of them mingling at Euston station....
