I feel like I have a pretty close relationship with my mom. Sometimes she is an authority figure, but she is usually more like a friend. I don't call her by her first name, but I don't call her "mother" either. Are relationships between Israeli mothers and daughters usually close and more firendly or more formal and authoritarian? What do you call your mom? Do you feel like you can confide in her or not? Obviously it varies from day-to-day and by the person, but in general, how would you describe your relationship?
