Expert Drum (Jobo) processing

greenspun.com : LUSENET : B&W Photo - Film & Processing : One Thread

I want to start processing my 4X5 B/W in the Jobo expert drum on an inexpensive motor base. Since I have always processed by tray, I was wondering if I now will need to change my dilutions due to the constant agitation?

What kind of changes can I look forward to solving?

Dear David don't change the solutions, because this will change the development in a much worse way than if you change the time. Times under 5 minutes should be avoided, theirefore its a good thing to start your development in bringing as first liquid just water in 1 -2 minutes)

jobo recommends a 5 min presoak before you start development. This is supposed to counteract the constant agitation. I use it and the HC-110 time for tray and the jobo both line out the same.
