There is a man on ebay who claims that he has recorded every episode of a television series from vcd's onto vhs tapes. Is this possible?

Recording from VCDs to VHS tape is not only possible it's in fact a breeze. But I suppose what you really mean is recording from VHS to VCD; it's just as possible and it's what this forum and a lot others are all about. ;)
