Aunt Bee Registered User posts: 1 (1/14/01 9:03:53 pm) | Del Thank You and Love the New Look!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The new colors and graphics are quite beautiful!

I am an old TB2000'er, but mostly on the prep forum, as I don't like to squabble much. I have been exploring new philosophies, but am pretty much nature/earth centered.

Look forward to learning much from you all.

I feel this is a peaceful place, filled with the warmth and love of good friends. I hope to make new ones, and add what I can, of my experiences.

Oh, and I am pretty good at fudge making!!

SAR01 ezOP posts: 1073 (1/14/01 9:32:41 pm) | Del Re: Thank You and Love the New Look!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome Aunt Bee....my, your name sounds familuar..... Aunt Bee Registered User posts: 2 (1/14/01 10:21:26 pm) | Del Appreciate it! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks SARO1-

I am not too computer savvy, so bear with me. This feels like home. Thank you kindly for the warm welcome!

SAR01 ezOP posts: 1076 (1/14/01 10:53:52 pm) | Del Re: Appreciate it! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You just take your time.....we all have been where you are!!!! (And I still am...thanks only to "J" for all the work on the decorations, here,)

we have more to go...but I am finding out it is not all "point and click!"

I can't wait to debut the "rose" room and the Blue room!!!! be patient...they are in the works!

Aunt Bee Registered User posts: 3 (1/14/01 11:15:03 pm) | Del Appreciate it! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Patience is one of my better virtues. I learned it from my grandmother, who raised me. She was born in 1890, died in 1989 and taught me many, many things that I probably would not have learned anywhere else. She is with me still.

Life is a learning process, be it computers or human interaction; it just takes time and patience, and perseverence! Hopefully, through life, we learn from each other and our own guides along the way.

The new colors and graphics are very soothing BTW.

SAR01 ezOP posts: 1077 (1/14/01 11:38:29 pm) | Del Re: Appreciate it! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am so glad you feel comfortable here.....just wait till a few of the other regulars show up...we really do have a good time, and also share information with each other.

I would love to hear more about your gramma, and your connection with her, if you'd like to share with us. No pressure, only share what you are comfortable with.

My gramma, was Italian (I was adopted) and she and I had a vey close relationship.... she passed before my only child was born, but she let me know she was "watching over" my baby, and for me to not worry!

Hi Aunt Bee!

SAR01 ezOP posts: 1116 (1/15/01 10:01:20 pm) | Del Re: Appreciate it! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Is there NOTHING this man doesn't LIKE?????

Liver and Onions??????

(Of course washed down with pralines and ice cream)

Aunt Bee Registered User posts: 4 (1/16/01 1:44:14 am) | Del Appreciate it! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ewww, I don't do liver and onions! The odor is too obnoxious, and there are so many other delightful smells you can emanate from you kitchen. I have a wonderful Amish Raisin Bran muffin batter you can make and keep in the fridge for 6 weeks. You dip it out to bake the muffins as you need them. If anyone would like it, let me know and I will post if. They are scrumptious!

SAR01 ezOP posts: 1125 (1/16/01 1:51:08 am) | Del Re: Appreciate it! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yummy...I don't have time to bake right now, but I think if you post it at the Cafe, it would be very welcome....Now...you know they will want you to bake a plate of them for samples!!!!!

Aunt Bee Registered User posts: 5 (1/16/01 2:31:25 am) | Del Appreciate it! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- No problem Saro! I will post it tomorrow night, when I bring a platter of them. Guaranteed to please, and just the right time of year for baking goodies! The heat of the kitchen brings all souls together!!

Barefoot Mailman Chief Techie posts: 279 (1/16/01 8:49:22 am) | Del Re: Appreciate it! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Aunt Bee, those sound wonderful! I will make sure cook bakes them straight away!

And yes, I like liver and onions too. LOL
