I happened to find your address from Beckie on the Countryside forum... which I'm grateful for... haven't been on tb2000 for a while... was getting to much to suit me...

alternative healing has been my way of living for some time... but the last few years I have left myself experience more and more new things...

I have alot to learn and hope that some of you can help...

I always have lots of questions...

Just don't like "squabbles" amoung other things!

So, pull up a chair, have a cup of cocoa or tea or coffee...and there cruise around...I really enjoyed the information you shared on Body Scans with me.

I have many questions and if we all ask and answer that which we know about....we'll all be "better" informed.

I am putting "out there"....someone that wishes to help here with herbals, vitamins, and or holistics. So iffn that's you, or you know someone...please invite them to see the board and how they feel about it.....ok?

Now...here's a big I.C. welcome.......

WELCOME Yarrow Spirit!

I do have some training in flower essences... Studied under a Marjah McCain out of Arkansas, with the Bach remedies...

Self taught in the Flower Essences Society... or the FES out of Neveda City, California...

I have made over 90 various flower essences and about 30 gem essences ..for use on my own family (7 children and 1 grandson ~ I'm a widow)and friends who come to my door...

Studied under Rosemary Gladstar and have done lots of reviewing of Dr. John Christopher's material....love herbal medicine...

and my children prefer homeopathy... which I started studying over 26 years ago... under dear Maismund Panos MD of Ohio...

tho I (we) do vitamins... I don't consider myself learned in that field...

I'm not a professional by any means... just a person that is concerned about helping others... but only if they want help... guess I must help several... as the neigbhors keep coming back...

course, they come for ear candling, and my ointments and salves and tinctures... I haven't had the heart to charge them... and my accountant don't like the numbers on my books... oh, well....

I'm willing to help if possible...

Beckie on the farm Registered User posts: 75 (1/14/01 8:13:05 am) Reply | Edit | Del Re: Greetings... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A big Welcome Yarrow Spirit! ! I am very glad that you have come. As you can see we are a pretty friendly group and all willing to learn something new and share our experiences.

If you need Barefoot Mailman to do something for you, it takes a good supply of fudge though.

Yarrow, CB34 has been TRYING to welcome you, and she is having trouble with "reply" (like I do....we have the same "phone connections!")

She'll keep trying, though.

Nice to meet you. The homeopathy sounds very interesting. There used to be some good discussions at TB in early 1999 and perhaps before. But the folks with the knowledge sort of moved on when all the 'other' stuff started.

I look forward to reading more of you soon.

Now what's this about rhyming? Maybe we should get Randy over here and the two of them can go at it while we watch? That would make an interesting thread, I'm sure! LOL

As I'm sure we all know, rhyming is an old learning tool to help us remember. As our life's journey continues to go, we will remember well past December.

LOL

Lynques and I welcome you all to Renaissance for fun... We laugh and joke and personally I duck for the puns...

Both Lynques and I moderate there... But I have to tell you ... Lynques writes with such an elegant flare...

So another rhymer on the board I see??? Send him on over... and then all can laugh with glee...

.... on a serious note... you all have a wonderful poster in Lynques... she really is a person that posts wonderful and informative info...she finds such unique articles... most of the time... better than what I would find...

unfortunately... with a part time job, 4 teenagers (yes, I have some hair left ), homeschooling a 7 year old... and doing all I TRY to do... I haven't been posting much on Renaissance... times I'm missing in action and they send a search party out for me!!! I'm glad that they care for folks there...

I tend to write from the heart and then get quite lenghty... like now!!!...

so with that... I'll take my bow !!!!!
