I have sony v 818 model vcd player.Some of the cd's were not functioning in my player but the same disc is well functioning in other company cd players.In another case ,Insted of three discs first two disc is plying well third disc play like slide show.But audio discs is plying well.Pl give me the suggestions.

Maybe the player lens is just dirty. 9 out of 10 this is the case.

Because SONY VCD PLAYER is the most sensitive player in the Market. I have a SONY VCD PLAYER too and it has the same problems as you stated.

SONY VCD PLAYER is designed to play only ORIGINAL VCD.

Nothing wrong with your VCD PLAYER's lens.
