If you have ever seen the movie "Somewhere In Time" with Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour, that is close to how I think time travel is accomplished. Art Bell had a time traveler send in a series of faxes and what he described is very close as well.

I still love the old "Time Machine" movie made in the late 50's early 60's. Actually I think when I was younger I watched every TV show or movie about time travel and read every book I could find. It was one of those things that I have always known to be true.

What do you think - yes / no / maybe??? and how is it accomplished?

I will try and find those faxes if they are still on Art Bell's site. Their search engine has a problem at the moment.

I feel that remote viewing is possible, The government has been doing it for years. If remote viewing is possible then why cant time travel. I know if I could I would travel back to the 1800s. A few years back I read a story of a group of folks who were traveling across the country to the west. This group was in the 1800s. They were in the dessert they were out of water and suffering terribly. The gentelmen decided to leave the woman and go in search of water and food. They crossed a ridge and were amazed at what they saw. They saw a long road made up of cement and just past this road was a building. Now this building was nothing like any they had seen in their lifetime. They cautiously went into the building(a gas station) and asked for water. The man behind the counter gave the group three plastic containers of water. The men from the traveling group were amazed at the site they saw. The were also given bread in a plastic bag and a few fruits. They were amazed at a moving vehicle that pulled up in front of the building. They paid for the bread and the water with the only thing they had a pocket watch.

When the men got back to the wagon they told of all they saw. The bread fruit and water lasted long enough for them to make their destination in california. One of the travelers saved the water containers. Also one of the travelers went on to become a prominent citizen of california. This man always spoke of the time in the dessert and what he saw.. he had visited a 1970s era gas station.

I think this was also on unexplained mysterys. So this makes me think why cant we go into the future or into the past. z

I just really relate to that movie. and sometime I "see" visions so very clear that I almost feel that I was there, and "saw" it, but I don't think I am a time travellar, (maybe my awareness knows how, I just forgot to take my body along)

It was wonderful. Is time travel possible? Perhaps it has already been done.

One must take into consideration that, if you do travel back in time and change just the slightest thing, it can effect all future events leading up to the "present" where you left to go back in time. So, please do be careful not to interfere with any events happening at the time you travel back to visit.

Well, that's enough for now. Maybe will say more later.

It hasn't been on TV for the longest time and I would love to see it again.

Dot, if you watch the Back to the Future movies, they talk about the changes you can make.

It was Dick Sutphen I think in one of his books that talks about "time" not being linear, but fluid. I will have to dig that out as well

I happened to buy a movie on DirectTV called Frequency where a man could talk to his father through time on a ham radio. In one spot in the movie the son still lives in the family house and they need to past something through time and the father hides it in the window seat so the son can get it 30 years later. I used to have a running 'day dream' about traveling through time and being able to communicate with myself through time and pass things to myself that way! !

It is a good mystery type movie. Won't tell you the plot as it is interesting.
