In the Leica Compendium, Jonothan Eastland shows a photo of a Nikon lens to Leica body adaptor which he rigged from a Nikon extension ring united to a Leica M bayonet mount. He says it worked, but apparently had some problems, like falling apart, and only working at infinity focus. Of course, the nikon lenses will have no focusing cams to mate with the Leica M cam follower inside the camera. But if need be, it is apparently possible.
