Hi All,

Recently, I bought SONY PLAYSTATION2 and happy with the performance. But I am not sure whether I can play my VCD on this console, if not suggest some alteration. And also want to know how to change the regional settings to play other regional DVDs.

SORRY to give you the bad news. But a PSX 2 "CAN'T" play any VCDs at this time. It most likely will need an external hardware piece like the PSX 1 does, but it's NA at this time :-(

Since I don't have a PSX 2. What I can tell you. Is I have seen something that has to do with the remote hack for the multi region.

you can probably play vcd on you PS2 the same way you can on ps one. you have to add a parallel port to it and use the exteranl video card or install a internal video card. But none of this is has been done or expermented.

Hallo. You can play VCDs and also you can play Div-X-Videos with a Dreamcast. A Dreamcast is not expensive. Bye.
