The clock goes tick...tock...tick...tock...

The waiting slowly is working into my brain...

Pink Floyd is playing "Dark Side of The Moon" (If you don't know this album, cassette, CD, 8 Track...go away!)

I changed my website every two days...Like changing shirts before a big date when I was in school...

If my team is not picked, am I embarassed? If my team is "short listed", what can I do to look better than the "best of the best" If we make it to the show, will we get a good challenge and a good expert?

Is anyone else's brain working like this? Or is this starting to look like a Rita Hill thread?

Indeed, you are not the only team filled with anticipation and worry. The competition is ticking away in the back of my head like a tap dripping through the night. I constantly check my e-mail even though I don't have a computer. I'm ready to fall off the edge of my seat from INSANITY!!! Will somebody please FIX THAT $#@ &^*% DRIPPING TAP!!!!!!!!! Best of luck to all competitors. We are the "Crazy Canucks"

Like many of the other team members, I think my head will explode from the strain of waiting to see if we made it. More teams will be rejected tan accepted, and with the high quality of your team and others, there is no disgrace in not getting on the show. I will be watching the show next season, and hope to see some of you on it.

Good luck to all the teams!

Howdy Dan, Here's how The Third Wits are making through this waiting period, Earl, he isn't bothered by anything, he never gets flustered, or shows any sign of stress, Chet, he's so busy with his part time business I doubt if he has time to think about it. Myself, I check my email 10-20 times a day, I can't concentrate on my job, my wife is tired of hearing me blab about it I wander about the yard with a Guinness in hand wondering what we can do next year to get selected, I wish we had done a better job of editing our demo, and on and on and on and on. I'm so stressed profanity escapes me, I can't even do a good combination of swear words anymore. Sigh, I really wish I was like Earl and just take things as they come. Maybe more Guinness will help, Best of luck to all you Junkies out there, hope to see you there.......ken

Our team members are working our rearends off trying to make enough extra cash to be able to take the time off to compete should we be lucky enough to be chosen. We are all self employed so the time is not as big a factor for us, but like everyone else we are getting verry anxious to hear something about where they are in the selection process. I guess if we don't make the cut this year we will at least have made a little extra cash to spend on our toys. Good luck to everyone from THE MADD SCRAPPERS

Okay...

Judging by the responses, I am crazy...But not alone ;^)

Dan, If you're judged by those of us who use this board, you're not crazy, you're normal. Sorry to pop your bubble. Actually I prefere Pink Floyds 'Meddle' album over Dark Side of the Moon, and when I really need an uplift I blast Iron Maiden over my Voice Of The Theaters. Then I go and drive the nails in my siding back in. We live out in the country so there's only the cows to piss off and they can't call the cops....ken (The Third Wits)

Metallica!!!!

Yea! Yea!

-- Dan Denney (rustrenegades@hotmail.com), March 09, 2001.

Well, Dan. . . If I had a few copious free moments, I would be going crazy! I've had one thing after the other at work, which has kept my attention focused elsewhere. Lyn is pretty much in the same boat. But, when I slow down I start thinking about how I'll feel if we don't make it. Second guessing the demo, the project, the package we sent, and have to just put it in God's hands. If we're meant to come into the new junkyard and play it will happen.

Sorry to get so deep, it's just the only thing keeping me from booking a flight and stopping by the RDF offices to see "WHAZZUP?!?!?!"
