How about a sort of "Jet powered " vehicle only using a tank of air pumped up by human power. Fastest pumped up hopefully gets to the finish line first, wins? Problems: building a large enough capacity, leak resistant tank for air, light enough vehicle to carry a preset number of riders, a pre-determined distance, in a set time limit? At least it's environmentaly friendly if nothing else! ! !
