Is the line back to normal and does anyone know of a web site where I can get prices and times of trains from KK to the Toon.A journey to the green green grass of home (Churchill playing fields) is one step closer and its time to plan!

Also www.thetrainline.co.uk (or .com, can't remember off the top of my head). I think they only allow online bookings until 10p or midnight(something like that) UK time each day. Can't remember what time they start, probably between 7a-9a.

Churchill playing fields? the theatre of nightmares, scene of many a home thumping for Whitley Bay High first XI, were you party to any of these massacres Hiro?

Churchill Playing Fields are still my footballing location. We play there a couple of times a week, (although not recently for some strange reason)
Hardly green grass though, more like an ankle breaking bumpy pitch littered with dog crap. I tell the owners to walk their dogs in Sunderland where they appreciate sh!te, but they won't listen.

Cheers info the info folks. I'll see what I can get organized.DSS - I'm a Wallsend lad born and bred( not to far from The Rising Sun on the Coast Rd) but became a sanddancer later on in life. Living close to the Fat Ox in Whitley then The Ship in Monkseaton. I always see Monkseaton as my home town.
Been moving around for years but still miss "The Land of the Steaming Dog Turd"
