For a 4 quart cooker: 2 lbs. Corned Beef Brisket, 1 1/2 cups water, 4 carrots, 4 potatoes (medium) cut in half, 4 cabbage wedges and 4 small whole onions. For an 6-8 quart cooker, double everything except the water, water goes up to only 2 cups.

1. Place corded beef in cooker and add water. 2. Cover and cook for 60 minutes (after control jiggles) with the #10 control, or 45 minutes with the #15 control. 3. Cool normally for five minutes, then place under faucet. 4. Add remaining ingredients. 5. Cover, use #15 control and cook 5-8 minutes after the jiggle. Reduce pressure instantly.

Assuming you know how to reduce pressure immediately (put right under running faucet). After pressure all bled off, then safe to open - never open pressure cooker under pressure.

Good Luck...
