Hexanon 40/1.4

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Konica 35mm SLRs : One Thread

Hi there,

on eBay Germany, you can bid for a 40/1.4. I've never heard about this lens. Is it real or just a joke? ( a few months ago, someone was offering a 2.5/200 Hexanon, but it turned out that it was a 4.0/200; mistyping?!)

Greetings from good old Germany

Hex 40/1.4

Hi Dieter,

I would bet that is either a 50/1.4 or a 40/1.8! AFAIK Konica never made anything like a 40/1.4. The other day I saw a 40/1.8 "Hexar" advertised, too.

I agree.

I agree with Alan, I really don't think they made a 40mm f1.4 lens nor a Hexar of any other lens other than 28mm, 135mm and 200mm.

There is a 135mm f2.5, but there is not any other f2.5 lens in the Konica Hexanon line that I am aware of.

More than likely a typo by the seller.

Mike.

Hexanon 40/1.4 does not exist !

You're right,

the guy who's offering this lens wrote that it was a typo!

It is a 40/ 1.8 ( but I allready own 2 of them)!

Greetings

Dieter
