Of course you have. Share with the group.

I haven't, though. Not ever. Nope, not me.

Pretty much my entire life up to this point is a series of dumb things that may or may not come back to haunt me.

Sometimes I feel everything I do is a "dumb thing."

I'm big on self-recrimination. It never seems to help me avoid future mistakes -- I always seem to be wandering around lately, muttering "Sei, you dumb bitch" to myself -- but still I can't break the habit.

Does anyone else ever feel as though they're powerless to prevent the most ridiculously stupid things from coming out of their mouth...?

Sei

Sei, I wear the crown. I just came here from the academic thread, so I've just refreshed myself on what an imbecile I am, but no one can be worse than I at saying hurtful things without meaning to.

I dumped a guy with a 3x5 index card ... and he found me online and asked me about it many years later.

Fortunately though, this turned out to be a happy haunting 'cos we're friendly n' all.

Ohhh, Lisa, I might be in your league about saying hurtful things without meaning to. And the worst part is that nine times out of 10 people politely ignore them, and then the tenth time they go postal, and I'm like, "But I've been talking like that all along! Couldn't you have gone postal the first time if you were going to, so that I'd grow a brain?"

We're not going to talk about all the times I've complained about bad teachers and had it taken out of my academic record. Nope. Or about the bad review I wrote of the college yearbook when I was a junior, and then I wondered why the worst picture of me went into my senior yearbook instead of the good one I'd chosen. Not here.

All the time. I speak with authority when I haven't the authority to do so. I get carried away by my emotions when my head informs me better. I ask people a question when I know the answer. Like asking a friend to the movies when I know the answer is no. I never learn.

I was dumb enough to listen to stupid girls who said that the doctor told them that their ovaries were in such a state that they couldn't get pregnant. The haunting however is really nice. It's the good kind - like on "Ghost".
