greenspun.com : LUSENET : Junkyard Wars : One Thread

they shouldnt go if they dont know what there doing.well what a weekend jack and i had,had two rescue two rookie snowmobilers from windy ridge near eagle medows.took two full days of searching for equipment, hauling there snowmobiles out and getting all of it back to the parking location on hwy 108. lucky for them we found them within the first 5 or 6 hrs. an got them to the cabin. the rest of the time was spent finding there stuff in the new snow the next day and getting them out.we could not have done it without a 1949 tucker snow cat.(witch we had to repair broken frame on,in the snow, with wat we had) what an adventure. glad im home casey.

I'm glad to hear you're alright. I see the snow brings out the same sort of freaks that the high river waters do here. Had a couple of fruitcakes went fishing yesterday with a 20MPH wind and 4-5ft seas. Then Brunella and Mary Ellen made us come in!!
