Dean Richards crossed my mind this morning. He has two years left on his contract but Saint's are looking to tie him down for longer.

I reckon he would be a good signing for the club, a defenders defender.

Beattie got injured, so that must move him into a contender's spot.

Pahars! Pahars! Pahars!

Pahlease? :-)

Was Mark Kennedy playing? A player who had all the potential/talent but hasn't really set the world on fire but with the base ingredients there he may be worth a try.

I'd say he was equal to Damian Duff at Blackburn and at least Kennedy has been in the lower divisions which can be hard football and he's also played at Premiership level.

Don't believe Pahars was playing - injured I think.

We could, and should, have signed Dean Richards two years ago when he was available for NOTHING. It was rumoured that he was very keen to come here, but the Dutch git felt he wasn't classy enough - yeh, right!

So, instead he went out and spent £12 million on Goma, Marcia and the Pie Man - real clever! Just think about it - for that we could have had Dean Richards AND Robbie Keane - or Dean Richards, Michael Bridges, Eidur Gudjhonsen AND Don Hutchinson - almost half a decent team.
Oh brother.

Pahars least likely. Ceefax stated on Thursday that he was injured/sick and wouldn't be playing.
