Where was Edgar Allan Poe when he died? Was he murdered, or was it natural causes?

edgar allen poe died of rabiese (i cant spell) but it was in a newspaper my teacher read to us the other day... they first thought he died becuase he was a drunk and got alcohol poisoning and died on the streets.. but studies showed he died of a rabbid bite from an animal.

It is hard to say how Edgar Allan Poe died. Some belive he got drunk and hit his head.Other belive that a person put rabies in a glass of his water and he died from that,and others belive one of his cats bit him and gave him rabies.

I believe that I died from a filthy rodent, also known as a rat. I met him in a dark hallway in my home. I liked him. He gave me friends (the other rats). So, after a couple months I finally became friends with all his buddies. Then they betrayed me and ate my leg. After I woke up I had rabies. Those fags...
