Trouble is my mind has already gone to who needs to be peddled in the summer.

A settled defence must be a priority. How can we begin to look solid with Goma and Marcelino on the transfer list for the whole season and both continually injured.

Surely their must be a jumble sale where we can at least get something for these two.

As far as im concerned, Goma can say what he likes about problems behind the scenes that the fans dont know about. I know one problem - a centre half who seems to pick up knocks as fast as a pay packet.

Sorry Mr Goma, my patience as gone and your shallow comments do nowt for me. I cannot beleieve it does anything for team moral when the likes of these two pull in wages for bugger all.

Priorities must be a committed, experienced centre half, a midfielder to protect the defence and a left sided midfielder who weighs more than 10 stone.

true enough Pete. I still am puzzled by what is the holdup in keeping the Caldwell/Hughes combo at the back. They seemingly did ok yesterday and whenever they have been together they have done well. What about Rob Lee coming back to play sweeper? he performed a blinder back there earlier, and if he's lost a step maybe he could provide more cover at the back.

Midfield seems a question, only Speed and Nobby solid, but do we lose Acuna, between him and Bassedas, I'd keep Acuna.

Where does Dyer fit? I'd like to see him behind Al and possibly Bridges. Shola and Lua Lua should spend another season in the reserves.

Glass goes for nowt at the end of the season.

I also reckon Goma is worth his place. When he's played he's given 110% - more than some. He has a broken wrist/hand and yet wants to play - I saw him really wince at training the week before last yet he kept going.

My list

Sale Nobby - loads of dosh in Marcellino - Freddy deserves 50% of whatever he gets for him if he gets owt. I also reckon YKD may go for loads & loads of dosh - I hope not but .. Bobby Lee is only going to play 50% at max. Whenever he's played we've been better - coincidence I think not.

We need a combative midfielder to replace him.
