I think that Cathy reminds us all of our wives. You know they come out half way on a project, ask a few basic questions and then comment on how loud, big or heavy that it is...

In other words, she come across real...

You can see the results of the host poll that I did at http://jyw.itgo.com

She's more than a "wife". The show isn't quite the same without her. Sure there are girls on each team but it seems a bit contrived to me actually. Cathy was the great "official observer" and as a woman myself I thought it was brilliant to have her on the show. Besides it being her idea she was a great ballance to all the testoserone.

Cathy, I know you would prefer to be behind the camera but please please please COME BACK!!!!

Although Junk Yard Wars is still a very good show, showing you can make almost anything out of junk, without Cathy the show seems to be missing something. Are there plans to bring Cathy back to the business end of the camera?

I enjoy any of the shows that Cathy hosts. I think she does a wonderful job. She is smart, funny, pretty and obviously does her homework to ensure that things are explained in a simple way anyone can grasp.

But the synergy she has with Robert Llewellyn is phenomenal. My favorite shows are by far the ones where they host the show together and go back and forth discussing the various team's progress (or lack thereof!).

Please, put them back together. I know my wife and I will watch the show no matter, but we would love to see the combo again.

Regards,

Bill
