I need to know what changes in the person's life after they are Barmitzvahed at 13. At what age could a person be counted as part of the 10 in order to have a Synagogue?

After a boy is Bar Mitzvah, he is responsible for praying three times a day, and obeying the law and living as a Jew. He can read in the synagogue, and yes, he is counted among the minyan( the ten). I can find out more if you want it.

I was reading bits and pieces of _)Life and Times of Jesus Christ._ I think it was written over a hundred years ago by a Jewish believer. The man had really done some research.

He wrote that during the first century, there needed to be 10 householders to start a synagogue, but in extreme circumstances, a boy might do for one of those. Normally, though, the 10 were leaders of their own households, from what I gather from this work.

Link, this is still the practice today. It's called a "minyan". And as far as I know, a Jewish male is considered a legal adult (for religious purposes) after their bar-mizvah.
