Washout Algorithm

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Brown Argo : One Thread

Hey guys,

I think I found a reason why we couldn't find anything on the washout algorithm. I got this article from motionbase.com (the guide to Motionbase cueing algorithms) and printed it out. It says,

blah, blah blah, "This causes the simulator displacement to 'wash out' to zero after a period of changing specific force. Hence the term 'washout filtering' is often (erroneously) used as a general term to describe motion cueing."

So let's refer to it as "motion cueing" not the washout algorithm....
