Canadian LF shops

Anyone know of Canadian camera stores with a good LF stock either used or new? I'm aware of Vistek and Henrys. Thanks.

The Camera Exchange II in Ottawa, Ontario. They sell 35mm, 2 1/4, and often get their hands on LF stuff. Check their website, but you might want to call/fax them for the latest info. http://www.camera-exchange.com

You can buy Arca-Swiss and Schneider lenses from Amplis up in Markham. Really nice people and you can actually see the stuff in person. Unlike Rudtek which hardly stock anything. Sinar is plentiful on the used market and popular in rentals just in case you need something extra.

Downtown Camera (www.downtowncamera.com) carries some used, but try calling as no LF was listed the last time I was on their website. You should also try Alt Camera Exchange (I don't think they have a website yet) at 69 Queen St East in Toronto tel: 416-362-6400.

Sure, there are some shops around that may have left overs, but honestly, Canada has no shops -- nothing like Equinox or Lens and Repro. I've delt with a nice place in Victoria, and 8th Elm and they are nice, but they arn't to drool over. Dean Vancouver
