bumping to 'new answers' list

I'm 'guilty' of only looking at this page since I mostly lurk in this forum. I don't take many 'people' pics, but have started too take a few. Should we always bump new posts to the new answers list?

Thoughts? ...you can comment on the pic too while you're here :)

I sometimes jump right in with a response to posted work, and sometimes I spend some time going back to it. It has been difficult to word a critique (or whatever you want to call it) for this photograph, probably because it's kind of "quirky." This photograph has some elements which are notable, the primary one being that the only three people within the frame seem to have ducked away from being photographed. Ordinarily, this may detract from the appeal of the photo, but this time I'm not sure. Another thing is I have absolutely no idea what anybody is doing. Anyway, I love trains, so anything with a train in it is a good photo in my book.

Interesting comments Tony... thanks!

The lack of faces was/is an element that had me thinking... and undecided about whether having just one nose visable made this a candidate for the circular filing cabinent...

As you can probably tell due to the image dimensions, some cropping has occured! I haven't got the original handy to see what I didn't like, but maybe I haven't got enough of the scene in, for you not to be able to see that they have just finished topping the boiler up with water, ready for the return journey. Not sure what the guy on the left was doing.. maybe polishing their 'toy'! :)
