Just being a pest...

RDF gets a 1000 entry applications by the March 16th deadline. A administrative assistant throws out 250 because of age or application guidelines are not met. Two teams of producer's assistants/experts then set down and start to review the other 750. It takes 15 minutes an application to rate them a 1(best) to 3(just okay). This takes about 12 working days. The producers then take another 15 minutes each to look at all of the "1" tapes (this is the short list). There are 150 tapes in this category so this takes another week. The producers than narrow it down to the actual teams, this takes another week. The teams are called and filming starts. The first challenge is to see which team can reduce the other 992 tapes to the fineness powder for recycling.

Where did I get all this information?

I pulled it out of my butt late on a Friday night! There are no conspiracies, so go to bed until you get called! - Geesh!

According to my calculations, we have 13 days until notification of the "short list"...

THAT doesn't sound so long when stated that way, huh?
