I would like to use NP-E2 pack for my eos 1v and it seems like I heard that an aftermarket charger would work rather than the outragiously price charger supplied by canon. Does anyone have any experience with an aftermarket charge for this battery pack?

The Maha C777 charger is recommended by a lot of people. I haven't used it myself, though.
