Warning - bit of a rant but MACBETH, PLEASE ADD TO YOUR LIST.

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

Macbeth, PLEASE CONFIRM the clear use of HIGHLY EXPERIENCED AND TOP QUALITY MEDICAL PEOPLE to make the appropriate level of care and assessment of our injured.

And please also CONFIRM and report on the regime, or whateveryouwanttocallit, that is in place to make sure that the lads are always on top form, fit and happy.

And if neither or either of the above fairlycommonsensesituations - I would have thought, wouldn't you - are NOT in place, then I would be grateful pass on a message to the Committee you will no doubt be elected to.

Please ask them to consider val's suggestion that the money would be very well spent. It is her suggestion that this MIGHT be any area to address fairly seriously.

Writing from Hong Kong, she is shrieking, with her head in her hands, from a player-availability and all that MONEY that the resulting success would be bring them it makes good busines sense.

Forget the bit about it being what SHOULD BE DONE anyway - not only from a professional stance but simply to care about the player's health and safety and, oh yeah, the fans might get the GREAT team that this geordie KNOWS IS IN THERE !!!!!

This is Not a swing at our Bobby. Aaah, No, never that, I'm afraid from over here. He is pure gold and has to start swinging his gold and make those buggers find the ATTITUDE AND PERCEPTION, as well as the Money.

I feel better with that off my busty substances. I acknowledge there are many areas to be addressed and reasons for our current malaise. But I have fears about this one, really.

I have found myself increasingly frustrated and angrily drawn to specific threads and it's built up. And I know that other clubs have maybe worse records than us and injuries happen to other teams as well,I know,I know. I don't care about them..I care about UNITED!!

Let's make this forum - as Macbeth said - not just a moaning board...but firm, polite....dema...suggestions for specific actions that might benefit the club.

And SJP is great but it ALL THE MIRRORS IN THE LADIES LOOS HAVE BEEN REMOVED. The old ones were only polished metal, admittedly but they were there. They haven't bothered yet for the new place ! Can't work that one out :-))

I guess, when I'm on a rant, I may as well finally throw it in. AND WHY ARE COLLECTIVE OR INDIVIDUAL EMOTIONAL ISSUES EITHER RIDICULED AT BEST AND IGNORED AT BEST ?

AND...nearly finished...if they

BTW, apologies to heednhands...no plagiarism intended, it was how I felt on Saturday night towards the end of the match postings and I pressed that cookie thing for the first time and the name stuck ! And to be honest, it's a good description of how I've felt occasionally. But I'll change soon, I'm sure.

And it should of course be "ignored at worst" - I think. And I've calmed down now...thank you for your understanding, whoever gets this far.

so this is what you do..up you go......

WOW!

I can just see the club's only action being to put up mirrors in the loos and then feeling that they've addressed your issues.

Val, where's your seat? The women's rooms near mine(a couple of stairwells either side of entrance 25) still had the steel 'mirror' in january. Not that it's much use anyway. I actually thought they were some bizarre form of modern art at first. ;-)

I'll 3rd or 4th or 5th or whatever the call for FULLY QUALIFIED SPORTS MEDICINE CERTIFIED STAFF! I'm sure our medical staff are very nice guys and do the best they can, but that's not good enough when dealing with millions of pounds worth of talent every day.

Hey who am I to try and ignore a rant like that :0)

I realise that just as some guys worry about ahving to pay 5p a pint more for their pre-match bevvy, it is vitally important that the ladies loos have mirrors :))))

The points made about medical facilities etc are seriously valid, and I hereby add them to my 'serious concerns' list !! I wouldn't dare otherwise.

Val - I think I know what's happened to the mirrors - or at least what should have happened to them. They should all be mounted on the walls in the "home Team" dressing room. I'd just love it, just love it if they had to look themselves in the face after a performance like last Saturdays.

Tomorrow had better be a bliddy lot better otherwise I fear for your sanity!

The reason they have no mirrors in the ladies is so that they can't see that the person next to them doesn't have a reflection....do do do do - do do do do - welcome to the outer limits!
