I have to write a 2 page essay on how Edgar allan poe uses a "unreliable narrator" in tell-tale heart. Well, the narrator in the The Tell-Tale Heart was very unreliable. he tries to deny that he is a madman, but as the story progresses, he actually proves that he is crazy through his actions. Only a madman would kill an old man he loves because his eye creeps him out.
