This is an excellent idea. I belong to Milford Riders. That is why I joined, so I could get away from the hassel with the cops. But now the politicans are threatning our rights to ride there. Be careful about the legal issues concerning Liablity waivers and minors. Milford is currently involved in some issues concerning this. You may want to talk to the tracks board members as well as the Rocky Hill track owners before you make any commitments.

Good luck

Sighn me up along with some other people I ride with, I live in pawtucket RI but I like to ride new stuff. Prices shuld probably be around $10 for the day and $200 for the year. I've never known the feeling of riding somewere leagle, it might feel nice.

You are a mind reader, this is a great idear and if anyone loves the sport how do you put a price tag on that? Honestly i think 15.00 to 25.00 per day is ok considering what we pay to race and how much time you get on the track even that amount seems more than fair. Track maintanece and land tax and all the hidden costs most dont think of can run up. Good luck and if your looking for members dont forget me, I also have a licence to operate heavy equipment and would be happy to help out if i have any spear time. Again GOOD LUCK and great idear.

I think its a great idea. Its hard to find good places to ride without being hassled by the cops. I know a lot of other people who feel the same way I do. I think somewhere around $10-$20/day or around $200/year would be fair, and the signing of some sort of legal document so you don't get nailed with a lawsuit. Please keep me informed.

Great idea of course, i'm always looking for a new place to ride. Please keep me informed. A good price would be $20 for the day 200 for the year. One idea you might want to consider is where everyone pay's 20 dollars a day to ride, and when they pay up to 200, they have their membership payed off for the year. It's hard for some of us to dig up $200 on the spot to join up. 20 dollar increments are much easier. See ya at the races.

Im from CO. Back there we had many tracks (8), and it was easy to find a place to ride. Fees were $10 registration and $6 every time you went to ride. The thing that we have to keep in mind though is there is a lot more land in CO and it is much cheaper than here in CT. FRom what I have found so far people want 200 for the year and then charge you to ride when you come out. This seems almost ridiculous to me, but like I say land is a lot more expensive here. It seems to be the going rate though. The MX garden of eden you are talking about building will cost some dough for sure so the price sounds pretty fair. I know we would sure like a place to ride!!! Right now my 8 yr old son is riding at his Grandpas house. We have a very small track laid out. Its ok for now because he isnt at all fast yet. (but we are working on it. He rides a KX65.) Once he does start to get a little speed in him, he will out grow the track very quickly. I have to admit that the tracks in CO dont have the ammenities that you want to build into your facility. Were talking a 80 acre field with some hairy ass jumps, A bacwards falling gate, for the start, and a water truck, and a gut truck that never has anything good to eat. The true essence of DIRT biking. They do groom for races, and change the tracks for races, but there is no bike wash or anything you are going to add to your track. Well, I ramble. I will volunteer my services as an Electrician. You are going to need one. I have two boys who are coming up. My oldest Sean I already talked about. My other son, Theo, is 5 and will start out on his brothers PW50. Maybe we could trade electrical services for a life time membership or something. Let me know if that interests you at all. But any way, Good Luck, no, Great luck. Keep on working hard to get the Mecca of MX and if I can help ley me know. Thanks Bill

I think that would be a good idea because alot of people would come from all over new england if it turns out like it sounds with the bike wash and 3 tracks and all that. I dont know about anyone else but i would pay watever it took to have i nice place to practice like.
