I know you are all waiting, legs still akimbo, for my latest update. So, here goes: 1) Leazes Park to get 3.5 million grant. In words of true faith, "So the self-appointed liberal elite have a posher place to take their basset hounds for a shite". Made me laugh. 2) Interview with Goma in The Mag - loves us and wants to do well for us but can't commit to us because things are going on that the fans don't know about, was gutted when the transfer tale came out, he only asked for a transfer because the club didn't appear to want to keep him, would like to play for another English club, says we should go easy on Domi as he's a kid, thinks his partnership with AH is very good. 3) Interview with Tino in The Mag - loves us, wanted to come back, was recently at SJP to show his bairn the club, hopes his son plays for us and think we are the best fans in t5he world. 4) Terry Venables thinks we will pnaic and get sucked into a relegation battle.

Observations:

Terry Vegetables is a tunc and he wants (not thinks) us to panic and get in a relegation fight because he sees the opportunity of managing a big club like us, can't think why he'd see that!

Goma: He would say there are things going on that we don't know about, nothing new there. Robson had publicly stated that he would love to keep him if he'd commit himself to the club yet the uncertainty goes on.

Domi shouldn't be involved in football if he is not prepared to act in a mature manner. we have cricticised Dyer for getting pissed and making videos but Dyer would never walk out on a club never mind Newcastle, especially at a time when injuries were weakening the squad. Domi shat in his bed and why not make him lie in it??

Finally, I hope Tino is training his son so he can indeed play for the club, maybe score a few more goals though?!

Couldn't disagree with any of this, although Goma came across dead well. They interviewed Micky Quinn, too...

So what is going on that we don't know about? Is it the Mick Wadsworth factor? Why is he so hated by Colchester fans? If he is the problem, does Bobby not see it? Or is Bobby's faithfulness to a friend clouding his judgement?

Answers to D. Throat, Grassy Knoll, Chester le Street.

If Goma withdraws his transfer request, he comes off the list and the club and Robson will be happy that he stays. Robson has said he wants him so unless Goma really does want to leave, there shouldn't be a problem.

If there is something else going on then Goma shouldn't be talking about it in fanzines, especially painting himself in such a good light.

Thats just like saying , I've gotta secret but I'm not telling you what it is. It's gonna do our heads in speculating on "what's gannin on " Why didn't he keep his mouth shut.

More uncertainty when we don't need it.

Stevie Caldwell should say, "Hello, my name's Steve Caldwell, I've been at this club for a few years now and I'm a centre back. I love playing for the Toon and I've signed a new contract to keep me here for as long as the club would give me". Simple!
