*not heard in a taxi* One of my favourite ever players to wear a Black and white shirt, indeed a player I think was instrumental in our return to the big time is supposedly Bobby's choice to succeed him in 2 years. Barry Venison. Nuts or raisins?

Bobby Robson will be here for more than 2 years. As soon as the new owner unties BR's hands in the transfer market, the club will take off and BR won't want to quit.

Mind you I would like to see some of the old boys like Beardo, Bez and Venison take their coaching badges and return to the club as coaches.

I wanted Barry as Keegan's replacement, TSM's, Gullit's and long term replacement for Bobby. We've got a couple of years to groom him for the job, I think he's spot on on analysis on TV plus remmber one of our first games in the prem at Ipswich, Steve Watson had the ball in our own area, surrounded by Ipswich players & Venners came to help out, told Stevie to keep calm, "don't hoof it", 5 triangles later with Venners talking Stevie through they had it away . I was sat with an Ipswich mate & the home fans were mightely impressed.

Whoever it is should be installed now. If Robson rates Wadsworth so highly them make him head coach or something but get the new man as an Assistant Manager.

Surely this is the only way in which we are going to have any sort of smooth transition.

BTW. Leicester are having a bit of boardroom trouble and some reports say Taylor could be ousted! I'd like to see Taylor as Robson's assistant if he would come down the snake in terms of position only to go up the next ladder taking him to higher echelons.

Wadsworth already is Head Coach.
