Square Peg in a round hole. I would like to suggest that the teams build a device to lift a 10 ton concrete cube ( handles and eye bolts provided) move the cube a 100 yard distance and lower the cube into an upright concrete culvert pipe. The challenge is to build a device strong enough to raise and move the weight and efficiently execute a manevour to lift, move and lower into the upright culvert. Expert helpers would be profesional riggers. The expert judge could be a retired rigger. We are getting together a team to apply for the summer/ fall season.

A one ton cube and 10 yards would be more within the realms of possibility for JYW. :) A 10 ton capacity crane is bigger than the build areas of both teams, plus more!

10 tons would be a cube of 61.3 inches sides and top. The culvert would be 8 feet. Ok I agree 10 tons may be too heavy, How about 5 tons? The concept is still the same.
