Benny/Doug: Do ya'll know Charlotte Danielson, Nick Horne's sister? She is a UDC sister and her husband is totally confined to a wheelchair - he has no legs. Charlotte is one of MY allies in the chapter. She is NOT in the Ashurst camp! I will call Charlotte tomorrow. What do we need - an affidavit type statement?

Yes, stating that Ray currently enjoys visiting the General but would be unable to do so at Riverview park due to the lack of handicap accessible facilities. BA

handicap access

We need statements from anyone that is negatively effected by relocating the Forrest Monument to a place that is inaccessible to those with handicaps, we also need their permission to include them as plaintiffs to protect their ability to enjoy the Monument whenever they so desire.

Pat: Excellent !! And there is no way to maintain facilities during or after each flood. It would be many months before all of it could be rebuilt. I just gotta say this ... Pat there is no way our Mayor can have a mental breakdown. You gotta have one before it can breakdown. Let's get this clown a bus ticket.

Benny:

Did you explain to Mr. Yow that in the proposed location these disabled people will also have to be able to swim to the mound during wet years when the river jumps its banks?

Floods

I have understood the mayor's selected area is effected by floods, I suspect that is not an issue to him as this is a politcal show for his financial backers, I doubt the notion that wheelchairs and walkers do not float well is of little concern as his desire is to destroy the momument and its spirit. I am going to have to get to sleep as well or I will not make it to early service.
