Um... what happened with what?

Where are you Katie?

-- Anonymous, February 25, 2001

I'm right here... wtf?

-- Anonymous, February 25, 2001

I'm assuming that the person who asked the question is referring to an entry in your weblog concerning honesty. Of course, I could be wrong.

Yeah, putting some obtuse comment in your weblog and then getting pissed when someone asks about it is lame. If you don't want to talk about something, don't put it on the internet.

Um, who's pissed about it? All somebody said was, "What happened Katie?" I'm just supposed to KNOW what they're talking about? Well, I didn't, so I asked. I don't see how that can be classified as being "pissed off."

yeah i was referring to your weblog entry...what happened?

-- Anonymous, February 25, 2001

Ok, you didn't really get pissed, but you still didn't explain anything. And cryptic weblogs are silly.

And my boy Dan over here is an arse... but we'll forgive him his faults... I love how this line of questioning is going...

anon: What happened Katie? Katie: What happened with what? Flame boy: Well if you don't want to answer then don't post anything Katie: WTF? I only asked what she was referring too Flame boy: don't leave cryptic messages... I don't like em' cause... they're confusing and I don't like being... like... confused or something...

Dude chill... I mean it ain't the end of the world that like noone knows WTF is going on with this particular forum question... I mean I'm lost, which ain't totally unusual... but do you see me going off the handle and be like... "um... i don't...um... like words...cause...um... they are, like...um... hard to understand... and stuff... it's not.. umm... nice to um... use, like...um... words and stuff... or something... um... yeah..." and would 'anon please explain him/herself cause, like, i'm about to like lose it and like...um... get pissed or something cause , like... i don't like...um... words and confusion and stuff... not that there's anything wrong with being confused, cause, like, some of my best friends like danboy over here are like... um.. confused... or something... i don't know... someone shot me please....

You're a retard. I only said that because I see people do it a lot, not just Katie per se, but a lot of journal type people put little cryptic messages about personal stuff on their site somewhere and then get pissed off or play dumb when you ask about it. I just think it's lame, that's all. I don't think Katie is really bad about it, I just felt like bitching in general.

Did I just figure what out? Your message makes no sense.

-- Anonymous, February 26, 2001

so, wait, what WAS the weblog all about? hmmmmm?

not to be nosey or anything, heh

-- Anonymous, February 26, 2001

Um, I'm like, confused. What are we talking about?

-- Anonymous, February 27, 2001

so anyway, back to the original question.....what were you talking about in the weblog, katie?

-- Anonymous, February 27, 2001

Well, okay. What happened was that I did something, sort of accidentally. And I felt pretty bad about it. So I told the person involved (Person A) about it, to be honest and all that crap. And then they got all pissed off at me, and they think I'm Evil. Apparently not so much because of WHAT I did, but WHO I told about it. See, I told someone else (Person B) about it for a couple of damn good reasons. But Person A chooses to not believe said reasons, and would rather go on just thinking I'm Evil. Which is Person A's prerogative, really.

So basically honesty gets you nowhere anymore. And I'm not saying that being honest makes what I did right. I shouldn't have done what I did, even though the means by which I had to DO it were accidental. The point is that I should have just not been honest and should have kept my mouth shut and everything would be fine. But no. Nope, Katie had to feel bad and Katie had to be honest.

It's kind of funny, because remember when honesty used to be a good thing? Honest Abe, all that? I wonder how old Lincoln ever lived with himself. I wonder if he ever did something stupid, felt bad, and tried to be honest with somebody about it. I wonder if anybody ever thought he was evil.

Oh, wait. We all know what happened to Honest Abe. He got himself assassinated, that's what.

Great...
